Husqvarna 135 – Why buy?
Husqvarna – the leading brand of chainsaw and gardening equipment has a reputation for producing high quality products. The Gasolina 135 model is part of Husqvarna’s Casual Saw range (light use) so if you’re a homeowner or hobbyist and just need a saw for lighter cutting tasks then this model would be ideal. This saw isn’t suitable for felling trees, but ideal for sawing logs for firewood.
Ease of Use
The Husqvarna 135 is simple to setup and use so is perfect if you’re never used a chainsaw before. There is a instruction label on the rear of the machine that you can refer to if you need guidance on use (especially useful if you only use the chainsaw infrequently). It’s one of the quieter chainsaw’s we’ve reviewed so if you have neighbours, this may be a buying consideration.
Oil and Fuel
Oil and fuel consumption is very good, with a full tank providing around 20 minutes of continuous use.
How to start
For cold starts, pull the choke out, press the primer button 5-6 times, then pull on the starting lever – that’s it. In our tests, the chainsaw started first time, every time from cold. Full instructions are given but should you need assistance, a telephone support number is available.
Weight & Handling
At 4.4kg is well balanced and light enough to use and manoeuvre. Thanks to the ergonomic design, the 135 is easy to handle so good news if you plan to use this saw for extended periods of time.
